• I use your identity and contact information to reply to emails and messages from you

• I use your identity and contact information to respond and communicate with you on particular social media platforms or apps you contact me through

 

In so doing, I am using your personal data either with your consent and/or for the following legitimate interests:

 

• Entering into contract with you to provide coaching to you;

• Performing the coaching contract

• Communicating with you in the course of providing coaching to you

• Administering payment for the products and/ or services I provide

• Keeping accurate records relating to the coaching services I provide, and in relation to my business generally

With your permission and/ or where permitted by law, I may also use your personal data for marketing purposes, which may include contacting you by email with information, news and offers about coaching.

Third party recipients of personal data
I share a limited amount of personal data with third parties in order to provide coaching services to you and to fulfil legal obligations in respect of tax and accounting purposes. For example, my accountant is permitted access to my invoices. 

Where I have contracted with a supplier to carry out tasks I have carefully selected which organisations I work with. 

 

I will not share any of your personal data with any third parties for any purposes, subject to the following exceptions.

 

I use MailerLite to manage our email marketing subscriber list and to send emails to my  subscribers. Mailerlite is a third-party provider and their privacy policy is available on their website. You can unsubscribe from the newsletter by clicking on the unsubscribe link provided at the end of each newsletter.

 

I use third-party services Tidycal to schedule appointments. Tidycal is a third party provider and their privacy policy can be found on their website.

 

I will never pass on your contact details to any third party organisations for the purposes of sales, marketing or research.

 

How long will I keep your personal data?

Where I collect any personal data, it will be processed and stored securely, for no longer than is necessary in light of the reason(s) for which it was first collected (including for the purposes of satisfying any legal, accounting or reporting requirements).

 

When deciding what the correct time is to keep the data for, I look at its amount, nature and sensitivity, potential risk of harm from unauthorised use or disclosure, the processing purposes, if these can be achieved by other means, and the legal requirements.

 

For tax purposes, the law required us to keep basic information about my clients (including identity, contact and payment information as well as information on the contracts I enter into with clients) for six years after they stop being customers.

I may disclose your information if required to do so by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities (e.g., a court or government agency).

 

Data security
I take the security of the data that I hold about you very seriously. My email account is password protected and mobile phones and laptops used to respond to your emails are password protected and have anti-virus software.

Under GDPR, 2018 guidelines you have the following rights: The right to request access to the personal information that I store and process about you. You can ask for corrections to be made to the information held or for your personal information to be deleted. You can also ask me to restrict the processing of your personal information or to object to the processing of it altogether in some circumstances.
